Mediated talks between Israel and Hamas, which were reportedly scheduled to start Sunday, are delayed by at least a day to Monday due to a Israeli security cabinet meeting, FRANCE 24’s Catherine Norris Trent said. The cabinet is set to discuss the “mandate” of the delegation due to travel to Doha for talks on a truce in Gaza, according to the prime minister’s office.
